(8,759 posts)producing youtube videos is one thing, having a prime time show with guests he can interview would be better.

(5,960 posts)Keith kills with that segment.
Plus he has a way of making it kind of funny...

(27,640 posts)...isn't his timing a little off? It seems like he'll only have a fat (literally) target for his commentary for less than 28 days.

(6,448 posts)And with Trump's recent history of mini-strokes, he's more than welcome to attack until Joe gets sworn in.
That goes for all of us.

(20,872 posts)In between, he can induct some scumbag in the cabinet. Lookin' at you Miller.

(130,538 posts)It was often Bill O'Reilly (a/k/a Bill Orally), but these days Trump will be a regular winner - even though there will be many excellent candidates for runners-up. Glad to see Olbermann and TWPITW are coming back.

(55,171 posts)since he has the current news stories first thing every day. Many posts are about getting shelter pets about to die adopted (he loves dogs) and a lot of sports stuff that I don't care about. He also read Thurber aloud during lock down. His biting wit and clever comebacks are priceless. The Closure and The Resistance kept me going in the early days of tRump. This is certainly good news!

(12,217 posts)It was called Almost Live, and it was where Bill Nye got his start in media. They used to have a skit that recurred every once in a while called "The Worst Girlfriend In The World."
One of the couplets to the skit's short theme song was
"She's the worst girlfriend in the world
The psycho bitch from hell, yeah, that's the girl."
Seems like it could be reworked to suit.

(7,632 posts)My situation in life has changed drastically and I have no money to subscribe to YouTube. I hope to see Keith's daily (is it going to be daily?)
I hope some DU'ers post his commentary so those of us who do not have access for whatever reason can hear what he has to say.
My late husband and I looked forward to his daily show during the Bush years. I think he kept us sane during that awful time. What is happening now is far worse.
I know Keith will bring wisdom and insight to the news. I hope I don't miss any of his broadcasts.
Looking forward to this!!!

(3,720 posts)I loved every moment of his political commentary. But, occasionally he'd go overboard with anger and self righteousness that was off-putting to a lot of people who were susceptible to swing to our side of the argument. And, he chased them away.
We need Keith back in action more than ever. He knows of what he speaks!

(14,728 posts)Didn't realize that ESPN made that a condition of his employment.
Well, he's got over a year-and-a-half to make up for, and I bet he can't wait to destroy the Fulvous Fuhrer.
