I was worried about Tillis gettin reelected but spousal abuse is worst than cheating. Both are bad but abuse is worst. The guy reminds me of a sadistic a hole.

Domestic abuse vs. sexting. Ugh. This could go either way depending whether people just choose to vote for neither, etc.

Tillis is one of my two do-nothing Senators, and I always assumed he was around my age (55). But that timeline doesn't work for being married in 1979! Looks like Tillis just turned 60 in August, so he was barely 19 when this divorce was filed.

Did he divorce his first wife, then marry her again, then divorce her again? That's the kind of personal back story that usually comes out during campaigning, but I was today years old the first time I heard this!
