I can't believe Pence was asked a question how the Trump administration would protect people with pre-existing conditions if the ACA was struck down by the Supreme Court, which he completely ignored and instead asked Senator Harris if she and VP Biden would pack the Court if elected, and then, unbelievably, accused Senator Harris of not answering his question. Instead of responding to Pence's question, I'd have liked to have seen her call out Pence by saying, "The question posed by the moderator was how will the Trump administration protect those with pre-existing conditions, and you completely ignored the question. You didn't answer the question because you can't; like this administration always does, you're afraid to be honest with the American people about what your position really is. Administration officials will tell you people with pre-existing conditions won't be excluded from insurance coverage, but you won't guarantee that insurance companies will be free to charge any premium they want, which will effectively exclude those from insurance that they can afford."
