His overuse of hyperbolic generalizations is wearing very thin now. He has burned that out and its not having the same impact on as many people.

He doesn't seem to understand that at all, though, which is good. He lives in the "best" and "never had so much", etc. It might be his Norman Vincent Peale "religion" where positive thinking becomes a both an excuse to step on people anytime and a delusional cocoon of endless denial.

It really can't match well with the dualism of reality itself, no matter how far it has got him. I would say that their are gophers of truth boring through his dense reality tunnel at this point and we are seeing the cozy nest of his narcissism unravel in real time.

However, that can be a real threat to his ego's existence and it may infuriate him more and more. The steroids may also be fuel for it and we do see the toxic gasses rising from his demise.
