(720 posts)Like a professional athlete's. What a mickey mouse hack job.
On edit: The fingers never move! They're like mannequin hands, frozen in the same position.
On edit again: I take that back, they do move.

(13,644 posts)Actually, it's a 3-second "crawl" which is used to help hide the effect. Example: You need 60 seconds of a moving background but have only 20 seconds of video. You snip out 20 3-second slices each starting 0.3 seconds later from the 20-second master and paste them together. Voila! 60 seconds of moving background!

"Months of practice fiddling with Zoom's virtual background feature primed the Internet for this moment.
When first lady Melania Trump appeared at the last night of the RNC Thursday, she wore a Valentino dress in a lime green shade a green screen green, of sorts. And as she walked down the steps of the White House, everyone who spent the past four nights hate-watching the proceedings saw their time to shine.
Images referencing the more than 180,000 Americans dead from the coronavirus pandemic, President Trump's relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, as well as the immigration crisis at the border were plastered onto the dress, online, last night."...

(13,615 posts)Either a green or blue screen background. Probably green since his suit is fairly blue. There is a tell-tale edge around his head and arm.
And if the camera is moved fairly close it makes the lens more wide-angle and it will distort the size of foreground objects; hence the bigger hands.
