Question about the supreme counrt and the number of justices....

We know that the number of justices can be increased........can it be reduced in the same way it can be increased?

3. It can be lowered but currently seated justices can't immediately get kicked out

If the number is reduced, we'd have to wait until some current justices retired or died or were removed via impeachment until the court was reduced to the new size.

comments on confirming a justice immediately (trump's latest pick) before elections when he said that he wouldn't rule on a justice that Obama nominated, because it was somewhat before an election (his words, scumbag that he is), our gloves should be off, and the courts shouldn't be rigged like the republicans are trying to do, in a round about way of rewriting law (by declared them unconstitutional instead of creating new and better laws).

This is just another way around the increasingly popular democratic party memberships and the continuing loss of republican memberships all across the Country.

5. There is a work-around if Congress has the cojones.

Establish a National Court of Appeals. (Pack it with 25 good young progressive judges.) ALL appeals from lower courts go here.

Strip the Supreme Court of all appellate jurisdiction. (Yes, Congress can do this.) Leave it with only its constitutional original jurisdiction. All appeals go to the National Court of Appeals.

Clarence PubicHair can take all the naps he wants and play with his "long-dong silver" to his little heart's content, and BeerBoy Kavanaughty can spend the rest of his career hung over. And the rest of the country gets justice. Problem solved.

so many, without true representation of the part of the majority of voters. That's why I'm for changing from 9 members to X members. This is being abused.

8. Or make all federal judges Justices and any SCOTUS case is heard by a random selection of them.
