Officially hunkered down. Hurricane # 2 on its way.
Hurricane Delta will be here tomorrow by late afternoon (time to landfall expected to change).
People in some areas still without power from Hurricane Laura. Others were starting to return to Lake Charles to begin the rebuilding process. Now they're being evacuated once again.
I'm prepared as can be for now. Got supplies in case we lose electricity again. Got the animals ready for a quick safety lock-down. Various other hurricane must-haves.
I would scream in frustration if I thought it would help.
On the plus side, I could use some extra paper towels.
They can keep the flies.
Just venting.

The really bad news is that it is back to 115mph; it is moving at 12mph which means it has slowed down and there is a lot of rain in this system.
The good news - it will be an afternoon/evening hurricane rather than a night one.
Please stay safe - you really don't need this. 
I heard today that there have been 10 storms that hit the US coast this year - the most in recorded history.

Poor Louisiana has taken more than a fair share of storm hits this year.....
This year is unbearable and we haven't had a hit yet.
They are watching another one far out. You stay safe.
If this one develops I don't think it will head for the Gulf
This is #3. 
And it seems that Delta is taking a path similar to Laura, and unfortunately, it will be a bit harder to nail down because the NWS Lake Charles Doppler Radar was completely obliterated by Laura.

You've been through a lot...I'll be hoping for the best outcome possible.
I'm hoping it works out that way. Last time was scary. I already feel sick at my tummy.
Gets old after a bit. This has been a bad year though. Usually we don't see this kind of activity.
Hope this one isn't as bad. Hang in there. We're thinking of you.
It's expected to be about the same.
But, well...hoping for the best, preparing for the worst.

Losing electricity after a hurricane is the worst. Good to see you're prepared. 
What did you learn from the last storm that is making your prep for this one different? I remember you couldn't make coffee without electricity last time. Have you got that solved? We have our fires here, been evacuated twice so we're pros now.
Please heed all the warnings and stay safe. Hope it turns out to not be as bad as predicted.
If you’ve been through a storm, you know what’s coming and it is hard not to think of the what if’s. Sounds like you’re prepared and now you wait. Just know that lots of us are thinking of you and really care what happens. Please be safe and check in as you can. We dodged the bullet — this time— but we’re still cleaning up from Sally so the feeling of the experience is still fresh. So many hearts across the hurricane areas are with you in spirit.
A black Sharpie in the right hands should be more than adequate to fix it.
2021 - sooner the better. For the next hurricane season. lol
My plan is to secure my animals and then hug a pillow and blanket.
It's been a sucky year for everyone. In fact, I can't remember a more sucky year, and I'm about to turn 71. Let's make it through this year without losing any more DUers, alright? Stay safe. We'll keep an eye on Trump in your absence.

this without a lot of trauma and destruction. Being in Florida, I know the worst part sometimes is the waiting for it to arrive. Will be thinking of you and your animals. Good luck Solly.
The waiting is awful. Wanting it over with and not wanting it to come at all.

This too will pass and somehow we pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off and start all over again
