No one layer protects enough. Not even all layers together protect absolutely.

It's not about absolutes, it's about maximizing the chances of a good outcome.

The people who are currently in the republican party are snakes, or something worse. Actually, some snakes are really cool, but there aren't any cool republicans. And all republicans are cognitively impaired. They do not learn from literature or experience.
