Tillis lets cat out of bag - predicts Biden win

“The best check on a Biden presidency is for Republicans to have a majority in the Senate. And I do think ‘checks and balances’ does resonate with North Carolina voters.”

— Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC), quoted by Politico, talking openly about a Trump defeat.

He still gets my vote, but my opinion of him has changed. I’m afraid there’s more to come out.

for running for such a crucial seat when he knew he had baggage. Obviously, I would give him my vote if I lived there. Does he still have a good chance of winning?

10. I would say (I have been watching this race for ages and had a fit when both Foxx and Stein declined

to run) that Cal dropped from 75/80% likely to win to 50/55% chance and dropping as more comes out.

IF this one seat ends up fucking giving the Senate to Moscow and Rethugs (a nightmare for 2 years, or 4 if we do not take it back in 2022), then I so hope Cunningham is tossed out of the party on his arse. I do still think we take the Senate, but my 53/54 seat projection is looking like it might go to 52/53 Democratic seats for our final tally.

53 is key, as I do not trust Manchin, Sinema, and likely Hickenlooper to always side with us on some crucial votes. The first 2 voted more than 50% of the time with Trump in the last full Congress.

11. Tillis isn't clear as the driven snow either....According to court filings obtained by American Ledg

According to court filings obtained by American Ledger, North Carolina Republican Senator Thom Tillis’ ex-wife alleged “cruel and inhuman treatment” by Tillis, raising questions about the reasons surrounding the couple’s eventual divorce. In Tennessee, where the couple was married, “cruel and inhuman treatment” legally includes domestic violence, adultery, emotional or verbal abuse, and sexual assault.

The divorce complaint, filed in August 1979 on Tillis’ birthday, stated that Tillis was “guilty of such cruel and inhuman treatment or conduct towards the plaintiff as renders further cohabitation unsafe and improper.” The divorce filing also noted that Tillis’ ex-wife felt “unsafe and improper” living with Tillis any further because of his actions, which may include any or all of the actions outlined in the law.

6. What does he or any GOP'er know about Checks & Balances?

I'd like to C&B him.

Their C&B's are far too dysfunctional, and have no real meaning

Remember back in the day when they thought Hillary was going to win? They bragged about how they were going to weigh her down with multiple Congressional hearings. They had mountains of files. They bragged about it! I heard one say they had 5 years of material -- whatever that means.

Imagine how disappointed they were when Donald won, lol. The poor things - all excited to be on TeeVee, with their posturing, sound bites, and faux disgust. Oh, my!

Well, they'll be thwarted again when we have the House and the Senate. Yay!

How did he for for impeachment?

Oh yeah, don't bother with these questions, as WE all know the answers.

As far as the impeachment went YOUR PARTY would not even call forth witnesses. So, you don't get to make the decisions on how voters will cast their ballot.
