Covid in North Texas

We just set new records three days in a row here in Wichita Falls, Texas. My wife and I have many of the signs of a Covid infections. High Temperature , headaches, body aches, bad neck aches. I am 70 diabetic, obese, high blood pressure, etc. we had a Covid test yesterday and they say 6-10 days before results. The good news is no respiratory issues. We are about 4 days symptomatic. We have worn masks every where we have been, haven’t seen friends or family but about twice since March, do not go to restaurants, not going to church. If we, have it my question is where the hell did we catch. We have social distanced and worn masks when we have been with friends and family. North Texas is the pits as far as conservatives go but most of them wear masks. The are starting to have concerts with no social distancing. Bars open back up next week.

as long as they serve food and reclassified. All they are required to do is serve hotdogs from a food mobile cart even if outside. Example most of the big dance halls like Billy Bobs and Red River holding thousands have been open

Do you go to the grocery store or the pharmacy? I hope you and your wife get well soon. Hope the tests are negative.

4. Masks are not a 100 %, especially the cloth kind people are told to wear.

I noticed that Trump was given some over the counter meds before his trip to the hospital, including pepcid and melatonin.
Also you can take vitamin D.

... that you need to spend 15 minutes with an infected person (or 15 minutes in a small, unventilated room which was contaminated). The only people I've spent 15 minutes with are my two dentists.

But I hope you don't have it! There are other things that make us sick, and some just live in us and don't require that we "catch it" from someone. And knowing whether you have it or not is not relevant to whether you go for medical help. You get medical help if you have breathing problems whether they are caused by COVID or something else.
