He is now claiming that he is immune from Covid-19 after he got it. I wish he would say that to my mom who has caught it twice in a span of 3 months.
I can't stand this turd!

(1,766 posts)V.R., your mother had it twice (hope she is doing well). My niece who suffered a severe case of the virus in April was just retested and found she no longer has antibodies. Fortunately she KNOWS she can contract it again and is taking the usual precautions.
Continuing to misinform the masses, he is creating false hope that those who already had COVID will not get it again. Not all of us are Superman.
He really needs to be stopped. GOTV!

(109 posts)Thanks, she is a nurse and the hospital was not helping the situation with how they were distributing the PPE and putting Covid patients mixed in with regular cancer patients.
I think he just thinks he can say whatever crazy thing because nobody is going to call him on it. Multiply that by how many crazy things he does and it becomes like trying to drink out of a firehose.

(2,366 posts)It's related to the virus that causes colds. Think about how many times someone can catch a cold in one winter.
Covid has been mutating since we first detected it. If he keeps attending superspreader events, with his compromised immune system and probably nagging pneumonia, even money that he becomes acquainted with a more virulent strain before he leaves office.
He's not invincible regardless of what he thinks
