(51,308 posts)He still has my vote, but I have the same taste in my mouth as I did when I learned about Edwards.
Something really twisted about these men.
Tillis is scum, and I want us to win the Senate, but Cunningham really did no one any favors with this nonsense. Smh.
John Edwards was a disappointment. What is so wrong with being a good person?
Jimmy Carter. I look up to him.

(7,596 posts)But Im sure hell have no career beyond the Senate. Like John Edwards, a man I once supported and who ended up breaking my heart, hes proven he has wretched judgment and can not be trusted to not blow a close election for his own selfish needs.

(31,261 posts)Voters need to finish off his opponent. Maybe Cunninghams explanations were accepted by voters, it helps that his opponent is a spouse abuser (third lowest form of human, next to a child predator and a child abuser).

(3,635 posts)We have 215k dead bodies due to Trump/GOP/McConnel and need to get them out of office.
Cal's affairs are a personal issue between his wife/family - what should concern voters is what policies he will implement to improve their lives.

(8,090 posts)and that the Army is investigating. It ends with Tillis walking hand-in-hand with his wife. Hope that poll is accurate and all those Cunningham folks vote! Tillis is one I ESPECIALLY want gone.
Why would the Army care?

(8,090 posts)and why they felt the need to mention that. I believe Cunningham is a retired Army reservist and Rethugs are trying to squeeze whatever they can out of his affair.

(3,635 posts)Just shows how backward alot of this country and its institutions still are.
Maybe we can get Bloomberg to hire a PI firm to find infidelities amongst those attempting to persecute Cal.

(39,171 posts)The military takes honesty and trustworthiness seriously. It is a bigger issue if the other person is also in the military but even this situation is a big deal.

(19,858 posts)of if vote for the Cal w/sexting scandal or not for him and let Tillis win because of a non vote. That's the wrong decision. We have to vote on the basis of adding more Dems to the Senate, period.
