GOP fears a wipeout -- and has 'never seen the left more engaged or organized' than in 2020

According to Politico reporter Tim Alberta, GOP operatives in Michigan and Wisconsin say “they’ve never seen the left so engaged and organized — not even during Obama’s 2008 campaign” when he defeated the late Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) by seven percentage points. They are worried about the GOTV efforts of Democrats.

“The overwhelming majority of Republicans, confronted with the reality of a landslide defeat in the Electoral College, will realize that it’s time to see Trump out — and time to look ahead to 2024,” he predicts.

2. The best part is the Trumpers won't want anyone else. They will want Trump or someone like Trump

so hopefully that toxic mess the GOP cultivated for decades will haunt them in 2024 as well. Remember the GOP nominee has to win the nomination and no "pussy libtard socialist" like Romney is going to win the Trumper base.

of “normal” GOP candidates to rise again. Trump is where he is due to the plurality vote. Everyone else who wasn’t him canceled each other out. It could easily happen again.

Someone pointed out that when the dust settles, the first thing Trump will do is to start campaigning for 2024. It will allow rallies and more importantly fund raising to keep the grift going. This could be a real problem for other candidates trying to separate themselves from the Trumpers.

3. The problem for the GOP is that they have no one to fill Trump's shoes.

He’s going to carve off a section of their party. Make no mistake, once the dust settles on this election Trump will blame GOP “swamp creatures” just as much as he blames Democrats. The GOP is going to go through some major fundamental shifts post Trump.

There's a reason these GOP operatives keep contributing to stories like this. It's soft voter suppression.

Fight like we're losing. Every dollar, every phone call, every vote. Leave nothing on the table. It's life or death.

Especially after those trump humping terrorists plotted against our duly-elected governor. No freaking way are they even going to get close this year. And now that the legislature & MI Supreme Court have endangered all our lives by kneecapping Governor Whitmer, expect COVID to spike in about 3-4 weeks.

They have done nothing - NOTHING - to deserve being re-elected. I hope this is the end of the Republican Party. I really HOPE we Democrats are able to hand it to them.

Vote. Every. Republican. Out. Of. Office.
None of them deserves re-election.
All of them are guilty of subverting democracy.
Nothing will ever get better in the United States until the GOP* is gone

angered the beast (the democrats, the independents, and everybody else). Too many excesses, too much disregard for the welfare and well being of others is turning people off, too much selfishness on the part of republicans.

To most of us, a republican represents the worst of the human condition, the ME ME ME attitude that is so prevalent in republican circles.
