Sen Lee just gave credence to INCREASING the number of SCoTUS. He said

Isn’t it difficult for 9 justices to represent the views of 330,000,000 million Americans?

I say yes Sen Lee! Thank you. I’m letting Joe Biden know immediately your rationalization for increasing the size of the Supreme Court. Biden can play the quote during his announcement to increase the Court.

He wants to talk about representation? Oh yeah! Let's talk about the "representation" produced by the Electoral College and the absurd minority rule it has created in the Senate and on the Supreme Court!

SCOTUS doesn't "represent" anyone. And all cases are heard by the entire court (excluding the rare recusals of course).

A larger SCOTUS wouldn't ease the load on any one judge except to the extent that they might have fewer decisions to author. But the number of cases that SCOTUS takes doesn't appear to change much from year to year.

If SCOTUS worked like the circuit courts (where a panel of the larger court here’s most cases), that might be true. But that isn’t the case here. More judges hearing the same case doesn’t reduce the workload.

third year of the Obama administration? They held hundreds of appointments up - including a SCOTUS nomination - for the sole purpose of packing the court with far right wing nuts. The media has balls to even mention Biden and court packing after ignoring Mitch's scheme for years.
