Can anyone fill me in on some right wing politician named Steve Baldwin and his long screed against

Kamala Harris that's making the rounds of conservative trumplickers?
Not gonna post it, but it stinks, I can't find his background, other lies, corruption, crimes, doing a search, just tons of triumphant sycophancy from other nut jobs.
It's been posted twice on my Facebook page and I just want to know more before I bounce the people posting it.
Thanks

From https://www.westernjournal.com/author/stevebaldwin/ . This is the publication that published the screed.

Note that this guy is not related to the Baldwin family of actors.

Steve Baldwin is a former California state assemblyman and the former executive director of the Council for National Policy and Young Americans for Freedom. He has been published in numerous publications and is the author of "From Crayons to Condoms, The Ugly Truth about America’s Public Schools." He is a contributing editor to The Western Journal.

reposted as if it was part of the original. The original and add-ons were then forwarded as if all of it came from him. Then Rush and other r/w sites picked it up, adding that he was a former Congressman in order to give it more authority.

He was on a Sirius channel yesterday denying most of it and saying he had no way to remove the added comments but the they were not his opinions. Also, he was never even a candidate for Congress.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Council_for_National_Policy
The Council for National Policy (CNP) is an umbrella organization and networking group for conservative and Republican activists in the United States. It has been described by The New York Times as "a little-known club of a few hundred of the most powerful conservatives in the country," who meet three times yearly behind closed doors at undisclosed locations for a confidential conference.[1] The Nation has called it a secretive organization that "networks wealthy right-wing donors together with top conservative operatives to plan long-term movement strategy".[2] It was founded in 1981 by Tim LaHaye as a forum for conservative Christians seeking to strengthen the political right in the United States.[3][4] The organization has been described as a "pluto-theocracy".

Oct 2020
Young Americans for Freedom (YAF) is an ideologically conservative youth activism organization that was founded in 1960 as a coalition between traditional conservatives and libertarians on American college campuses. It is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and the chapter affiliate of Young America's Foundation. The purposes of YAF are to advocate public policies consistent with the Sharon Statement, which was adopted by young conservatives at a meeting at the home of William F. Buckley in Sharon, Connecticut, on September 11, 1960.

While the 1960s were its most successful years in terms of numbers and influence, YAF has experienced a resurgence in recent years, becoming active as a national organization with chapters on college and high school campuses throughout the United States. YAF's official publication is The New Guard.[1]

...not that it's out of character for RW trolls to embellish or change details to make something more outrageous, or to make the (alleged) author more impressive, or both.

And when I say that I'm thinking of cases from long before Russian bots got into the act.

Steve Baldwin: The Evidence Shows a Biden-Harris Win Will Lead America Into Socialism & We Will Probably Never Recover
By Steve Baldwin
Published August 21, 2020 at 4:04pm

I have little doubt this coming election is a tipping point in American history. I believe the evidence shows that a Biden-Harris victory will lead America down a socialist road from which we will probably not recover.

I say this because the Democrats will likely stack the Supreme Court with at least two more justices in order to obtain rulings such as the legalization of all illegal aliens physically within the U.S.A., thereby creating millions more likely Democratic voters.

The Dems will also push for a court ruling that abolishes the Electoral College, claiming it is “racist” because it protects rural areas from being dominated by urban area voters.

***

A Biden-Harris victory will ensure that the Republican Party will never win the presidency again and America will gradually be transformed into a socialist semi-dictatorship in which opponents will be spied on, censored, harassed and even jailed based on trumped-up charges and bogus claims of “hate speech.”

I'm not linking to the source, but it can be found at The Western Journal. Search on Steve Baldwin Kamala Harris and it'll be at or near the top of the hits.

What follows this excerpt is a long screed (long enough to have sub-headings) regurgitating debunked RW fantasy-scandals and moldy, tired tropes that a Biden-Harris win will be the equivalent of a communist takeover, ending America and Western Civilization As We Know It. God, these freaks are such powerful projectors they could give IMAX a run for their money... if their projections weren't so blinkered.

I can never read this stuff without wondering when the dragon shows up. Fantasy at this level usually has a dragon.
