can't the new administration replace it immediately with something similar and more expansive? Shouldn't the Biden campaign have a new plan at the ready?

(27,542 posts)...but theyll probably need to get rid of the filibuster first, as theres no way they be able to get 60 votes with an intransigent Republican minority. And, even if they pass something, whos to say the SCOTUS doesnt dream up some reason to throw it out, too?

(3,609 posts)Could they pass it even with a majority and no filibuster? Based on the ACA negotiations, I doubt it. Who are today's Joe Lieberman and Max Baucus? People like that are the key issue.
