I saw on The Comedy Show years ago who pointed out his unbuttoned shirt sleeve cuffs and declared “I’m on a rampage”. It’s the level of rebellion she can muster. She’s too broken to do anything more. Sad.

It isn’t at all uncommon for people to adopt their “maiden name” as their middle name.
