We watched a master at the top of her game today.

Do you accept that COVID19 is infectious? Yes

Do you accept that smoking causes cancer?
Yes

Do you think that climate change is happening and is threatening the air we breath and the water we drink?
Hummuna Hummuna. That's debatable.

Kamala Harris offered a master class in cross examination today.

6. I love how Barrett kept saying "I don't know where you're going with this ..."

Yes, That's the point. Don't worry about where she's going. It doesn't matter. Just answer the question.

7. She knew it was going somewhere not good for her

And the "aha" moment when she realized she was about to step in it big time.

SO said, "what difference would it have made if she said, 'yes, climate change is real?'" We pondered that for a bit and I opined that she knows she is beholden to IMPOTUS and she could say nothing that would make him mad. And, she's been groomed for this spot by the Federalist Society probably since law school and the idea of "say nothing that may go against RW orthodoxy" has been drummed into her since then.

10. Which shows that for a lawyer/judge Barrett is really not very bright

Usually a good lawyer or competent judge can think on their feet and ponder their answers to questions. I am not a lawyer but it was pretty obvious to me where that was going. The fact Barrett fell for it shows she is just a pawn for the federalist society groomed for that purpose instead of a competent jurist. She could not hold a candle to Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

I have to admit; I was not happy with her becoming the VP nominee. I wanted other people more.

I have totally turned around about her. Now I absolutely love her.

But: Watching her question that bimbo that will be our next justice was a friggin' spiritual experience for me.

Kamala is a master. Period. Blew me away!

Now I'm SO SO glad she's our VP, and I know if she's the first female President of the United States, I will support her 100%.
