Based on data from states that track party registration with returned ballots, here are the return rates by party, so far:

Democrats -- 55.9%
Republicans -- 23.7%
No Party Affiliation -- 19.8%

7. i'm guessing most of those non-affiliated are biden voters.

as you say, you dont stand in long lines on the first day to vote for the status quo.
and at least half those republicans are biden voters, too, i'd wager.

The trump supporters in my family believe the world will end if Biden is elected. The fear is real. I remain hopeful that the long lines are for people who can see with their own eyes that the US is worse off than it was 4 years ago and those numbers are really encouraging!

plan to vote on election day. So Early voting will show a massive lead for Dems, but then Republicans will try to close the gap with election day voting.

numerous states we did not believe possible before. I don't see how Barrett changes that and I hope to see a high volume in voting continue.
