My wife and I walked into a major national chain pharmacy last week and got our old people's quad dose with no problem.

According to two local pharmacies hubby spoke to last week they're hoping to get them in this week.

Went to Target of all places. It was easy and quick, plus with insurance there was no cost and we each got a 5 dollar target coupon whic we immediately both used.

I already have my shot but Mr. I_T_W may need to wait until his next doctor's visit. We are holding out for the Senior Flu Shot.

We fortunately got ours earlier this week, but the pharmacist said we were lucky because they had just gotten in a shipment. He said that the demand had far exceeded what was expected, and that they had been running short frequently. He also said we were lucky because they'd received the "expensive" stuff ... that they're sending anything they've got, no matter the cost.

As a bonus, because we went to the CVS in Target, we got our two $5 coupons, and were able to get a few things that we were running low on (band-aids, paper towels, liquid soap refill). At a bargain! We'd never brave going to a Target just for that stuff if we didn't have to get the shots.
