Dianne Feinstein praises and hugs Lindsey Graham (both maskless)

"I just want to thank you. This has been one of the best set of hearings that I've participated in," she tells him. "Thank you so much for your leadership."

I get it that she's a wonderful human being, but she's a bit too nice to these snakes.

judiciary committee. She obviously didn't listen to me.

I'll be calling her back to inquire about her maskless embrace of a senator who was exposed at the superspreader event yet refused to be tested for covid19.

It's a stain on California's politics and emblematic of a larger problem in the state's Democratic party that she continues to be re-elected.

help de Leon win, but Feinstein is just too entrenched.

Feinstein will be one of the leaders against ending the filibuster and she is profoundly against an expansion of the SCOTUS

Feinstein is also bad on other issues, especially the war/security/surveillance state and banking regulation

she is well past her expiry date and her views do not, at far too many intersections, match her constituents'

I was very disappointed when she won re-election.

She will soon be a nonagenarian (in 2 and a half years, well before her term ends), one of just a small handful ever in the Senate. During the last campaign, she hinted she might run AGAIN, in 2024, which is just madness. She would be within 6 months of turning 98 years old at the end of her next term.

Before this, there were only 4 Senators ever in US history who served into their 90's : Theodore F. Green, Carl Hayden, Robert Byrd, and Strom Thurmond (100 years, 29 days old his last day in office, and a senile lump of shit long before that) Only Hayden was still healthy and actually completely sound at the end. Chuck Grassley, if he runs in 2022 (doubtful, but who knows), would also be 90yo+ and still serving.

Only one House Rep has ever, in US history, served into their 90's, the ex Democrat turned-Rethug Ralph Hall from Texas. The Rethug Don Young, if he wins in 2020 (he is in big trouble, finally) and then runs and wins again in 2022, would be the 2nd. Eddie Bernice Johnson would have to run in 2022 and 2024 and then she would be the third.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D)
California’s Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s estimated $94 million net worth makes her the second-wealthiest serving senator. Blum Capital, a private equity firm founded in 1975 by her husband. Richard Blum, is the source for most of that wealth. Feinstein’s financial disclosure statement for 2014 revealed that she had anywhere from $5 million to $25 million invested in a blind trust. She also had between $3.1 million to $7.3 million in various money market accounts.

Unfortunately since it has gone on for so long, the Republican Lucy Party doesn't even bother to hold the football anymore and tells Democratic Charlie Party to pick it up as they stand behind him and kick him in the ass with their toes drilling into his nuts when he bends over.

It's time to hang it up DiFi. I cannot fathom why she would think this is a good idea. Lindsey may lose his seat and you have just bolstered his campaign with this photo op. Thanks. Also, ACB sham hearings should not have taken place in the first place. Please California, you can do better, the time for blind loyalty has passed.

Covid and Lindsey has looked ill all week. As for "best hearings," they might have been acceptable hearings if the nominee answered one question. If someone asked her what her astrological sign was she'd dance around the issue. It was a farce.
