The GOP appears to be following their old play book from 2016.

In that election, they got Comey to send his "letter" to congress on October 28.

I wonder what they have planned this election.

But everything the GOP is doing this election, has put them flat on their face.
Partly because we're ready for their lies and deceit this time around—but also because Trump has a TERRIBLE poker face: you listen and watch what he's spewing, and reading between the lines is simple.

1. All they have is the Hunter Biden bullshit propaganda story

Heavily picked and debunked. I doubt they have anything left unless they create some wacky ass conspiracy that Joe is sucking the souls out of the children.

2016 is not 2020. More people have early voted by 500X than in 2016. People are done with him and no manufactured October surprise is gonna work.

It tends to blunt the effects of last minute republican shenanigans. Either you pull the trigger early on the dirty tricks, in which case there's likely enough time to debunk the smears and chase down the instigators (e.g. this Hunter Binden nonsense that's possibly implicating rudy in some big trouble...) Or you pull the trigger at the last minute, after many, many people have already locked in their vote (e.g. 1/4 of Minnesota's registered voters have already returned their mail in ballots, and early voting is just getting started this weekend.)

7. They're not very original.

The Hillary October surprise involved information on a laptop. Those emails might be legitimate, but the Republicans benefited from the unanswered questions and, of course, Comey's rogue decision.

Now, the October surprise involves information on a laptop. And the Republicans are getting hit for their lack of originality because they're down to emails that were planted on the laptop, which are easily discredited as fakes.

They’ll do something in the Friday before the election.

I am hoping it all backfires particularly considering early voting, but who knows with these clowns.

People are already voting in droves. Nothing Trump or the Republicans are doing is going to stick. The Hunter Biden convoluted nonsense doesn’t matter to anyone who wouldn’t vote for Trump anyway. Most voters have already made up their minds.
