Politico: Trump starts to articulate a painful reality: He could lose in 2020But as CNN points out: If the President loses the election, he would be vulnerable to multiple investigations and lawsuits that his office has so far protected him from.
The Politico article continues:
Trump may have revealed his backup plan. He has a lot of classified information to offer any nation he approaches for refuge, so it would be in our national interest to see that he doesn't get away. When Joe Biden assumes office perhaps he should immediately take action to ensure that Trump's passport is revoked.

(683 posts)That Trump would use national secrets as leverage is believable and threatening. I hope Towlie isnt the only national security genius thinking about these things.

(2,253 posts)Trump is publically writing himself off/positioning as underdog, but he knows dark forces are/will pull some tricks.
Suprise! He wins.
Post-election: "I had the biggest comeback in history!!!!"
P.S. NONE of this will happen.

Regardless, it would be an awfully dumb and unprofitable move for any country to make.

(8,082 posts)It would be hilarious if Pence took over the office and DID NOT pardon him! I'd love that.
Of course, Pence's days in the republican party would be over either way.

(5,815 posts)that hell lose bigly in a few more weeks, he needs to have an escape plan. He is not the brightest bulb on the tree but he can sense danger when it closes in on him. I imagine his evil spawn are helping hatch something up that involves planes, trains and automobiles whatever it takes to spirit them all away from justice.
So....our security folks, customs agents, border patrol, military, all law enforcement agencies.....anyone with authority to stop these jerks in their tracks ... need to be ready to pounce the minute they try to put their plan in action.
After all this country has been through and continues to suffer thanks to Covid-19, it is time for tRump to come face to face with consequences. No perks, no get out of jail free cards. Just good old fashioned American justice with lawyers, judges, a defendant, a jury and a verdict. It needs to be televised, too, so the dumbasses who fell for his sh*t can see all the evidence line up against him. Pop some corn already and get this show on the road. ASAP Its time for his chickens to come home to roost.

(2,337 posts)I'm convinced no one else could have brought tRump to his knees quite like Biden. There is literally nothing bad one can say about Biden. Contrast him with tRump and it's an easy contest. Over 40 years experience vs the four fake years of tRump not doing the job? Haha, easy.
Wondering now that he says he'd leave the country, are the repugs saying things like, "Get out then," and "if you don't like it here you can leave," to him? Just curious.

(1,648 posts)U.S. Law Enforcement and/or military to protect the nation from a known threat to the country, by taking him into custody and locking him up with limited access to a very regulated defense attorney. Lock him up in a cold dark cave, then let it become his crypt when he croaks and seal it up permanently.
This is exactly why everything about his fraud schemes and more importantly treason/traitor conduct should be immediately disclosed to the public to make him even better known than Benedict Arnold. And every damn Republican connected to it and/or who enabled him needs to be charged as an accessory to his crimes to burn their asses forever... Everyone! His Judicial Appointments should then be resigned and terminated if they refuse the resignation for taking part in a fraud scheme to acquire their judicial position.
