Here's another question to ask yourself: If someone had files like that, do you really think they'd give him the only copy?

Maybe I'm naive, but if I had some kind of important information like that, I'd be making multiple copies and distributing them far and wide. I am always highly skeptical of claims about secret information that is then not released.
