The Pueblo Chieftain Opinion: Please do not vote for Trump. Cast your vote for Joe Biden.

Hispanics, do not vote for Trump

It's been a few short years since President Donald Trump became president, but it seems like it's been 20 years that he has been in office.

The city of Pueblo has been a Democratic county for many, many years. But in 2016, Trump won Pueblo County by some 400 votes. So what he did to reward the Mexican and Hispanic community? He removed 6,000 children away from their mothers; which was very painful to the children and parents. Many of the kids may never be reunited with their parents.
-snip-

Nationally, second quarter unemployment for Hispanics is 16.9 percent.

Trump's administration wants to end the DACA program for kids without any future plans to help our Dreamers stay here.

Please think about these children separated from their parents; think about the DACA kids, think about the number of Hispanics without jobs (mostly in service and hospitality industries); and no access to unemployments benefits; think about the number of Hispanics who died from the virus, think about the number of Hispanics who were infected with the virus. And also, remember, Trump called our veterans (many of whom are Hispanic) "losers and suckers" and then cast your vote for Joe Biden. - Pueblo Chieftrain

Coal was mined in the southern Sangre Di Cristos near Trinidad, turned to coke, then trained to Pueblo where steel was made.

Trumps promise to bring back coal and steel appealed to these blue collar, union cities. He didn’t deliver. Will they support him again?

Diane Mitsch Busch is in a close race for CO-03 and votes in Pueblo will offset Grand Junction.
