I've tried to make multiple donations in the last few weeks. Sometimes I think they've gone through but then they don't ever show up on my donations history. Last month my credit card company put a hold on some of my charges to ActBlue because they looked suspicious, but I called them and told them to put a note on my account that all ActBlue charges are ok. But I still have not been able to make a donation that goes through. Sometimes there is not even a verify donation button on the page.

(1,753 posts)sent me confirmation of my donation. I don't know why you're having trouble - below is the link I just used, I know that worked. Your link may have been hacked ... also, make sure the credit card you use to make your donation is up to date. Good luck.

(7,113 posts)I once had a similar problem, but figured out that, because I was donating from a different device than usual, I wasn't logged into my account, so I got neither an email cofirmation nor a record of that donation on my account's history.
I'm guessing even from the same device you might get inadvertently logged out or other account settings changed.
Good luck solving your problem.

(31,261 posts)the donation without using the on record information. You will have to fill in all the information, but your payment is likely to go through. The automatic donation feature seems to run into issues if you changed your card number recently or even a while back. It seems that the feature mixes up information and ActBlue has a really poorly thought out App for helping you get things set up correctly, so you go through an annoying rejection loop unless you act like a first time donor.
The only thing that I dislike about ActBlue is its automatic donation feature (you just list the amount once logged in and hit donate). The feature needs a lot of attention, it simply doesnt work well and consistently. When I donate, I just act like a first time donor, it involves more entry, but I dont get the annoying rejection of my debit card.

(2,420 posts)It's the credit card company. Second time they've held up donations to ActBlue.

(9,926 posts)the second time they charged me, they took out the decimal point. ActBlue completely ignored my frantic attempts to contact them (the only way you can do it is through an email form on their web site) about it. My credit card company is dealing with it, but making me jump through all kinds of hoops. The whole thing has been a nightmare.
Bottom line, I refuse to ever use ActBlue again.

(2,420 posts)...second time in 2 weeks. It's been going on for more than a month in total. I wonder how many millions of dollars Dem candidates are missing out on because the credit card company is screwing with donations.
