Drove through part of PA today

From northern Delaware up through Oxford and on to Millersville. Saw lots of small yard-size Biden-Harris signs on my trip to a small farmer's stand that I love--got lots of broccoli and cauliflower

The wingnuts definitely love their big, hand-made signs, though, and Quarryville appears to be a lost cause for us. Tiny little town, though. In Quarryville, I saw a big sign saying "Say No to Masks! Impeach Gov. Wolf." Saw a bumper sticker saying "Trump 2020--Make the liberals cry again!" and another hand-made sign saying "Leftist Hate won't stop the Trump Train".

All in all, though, I'd say I saw an equal number of Biden-Harris signs and Trump signs. I was rockin' my RESIST and Biden-Harris bumper stickers. My whole route was pretty much what I thought would be Trump-ville, so I felt pretty good. I still want to puke when I see ANY signs for 45, but the heck with them.

In that direction, the highway is filled with big signs depicting Drumpf hugging the American flag.

I've seen them....and he looks like the ridiculous assclown he is in them. Some got defaced and it was a minor scandal, but the last time I went that way someone had tried to fix them up. Smaller Biden-Harris signs also sprouted in between them, giving my eyes some respite.

My guitarist texted me on the way down, and expressed surprise that none of them had been defaced to make it look like Drumpf was hugging a penis.

Most got hit with black spray paint and words like "RESIST," "Black Lives Matter," "Hell no!" and "RBG" and stuff like that. I can't believe someone wasted their time going out there and touching them up with red and white paint.

and flags. I saw one house with at lest 25 signs flags and even a full size Trump cutout. There better be lots of Democrats in Philly and Pittsburgh. I don't believe the polls that show Biden ahead.

10. Metro areas (urbs and suburbs) have huge populations

that vote heavily Dem. Urban turnout should be better than last time, when some of our base stayed home. Suburban voters (especially women) have moved heavily in the Dem direction. Biden is doing better with whites across the board, as well as seniors. Biden is also from PA, and is thus culturally in sync with that region. So all of the fundamentals look good, and he is fighting hard for the state and taking nothing for granted.

Pass that Impeach Wolf sign every Sunday when I do the grocery shopping. The homemade sign actually says SAY NO TO MASK’S (idiots).

Right next to it is one of those OpenPA signs that say ‘Protect the Vulnerable’...the disconnect with these people is confounding.

and thus are less likely to feel compelled to display. I, for one, own a home business in a very red rural area. I will not be making a political statement on my lawn. It would not convince anyone to change their vote.

We are the "silent" and sometimes "non-voting" majority, if you look at just about every national poll on every issue ever (assault weapons, gay rights, abortion, the environment, etc.). That's why when we vote, we win. And that's why their only hope is gerrymandering, intimidation, and voter suppression.
