Oh wow. We were in southern and central part of CO last week and didn't know about the fires.

I'm in Broomfield and the smoke plume was massive.

We're getting a light mist of rain this morning. It's really helped.

The smoke was so thick you could chew it yesterday. I hate wasting any N95 masks, but it was necessary to walk the pup (and boy did I feel bad for her).
BTW, all the black areas are fire-destroyed:

Smoke was super bad here too yesterday. I stayed inside.

and more open prairie east of the mountains? eg a lot fewer trees?
