It really feels good to know I have voted and don't have to worry about that.
I know it's challenging in a lot of states.

(30,613 posts)(except for very limited "excuses" so this was my very first time doing it that way in 40 years of voting. I was really nervous about the signature requirement; I am basically incapable of signing the same way twice. I practiced for days, to forge a copy of my own signature from my driver's license. I hope "received" means they are OK with the signature too.

(4,554 posts)Our first day is this Saturday.
They are only offering voting at Board of election sites, not in our little rural outpost. So, I know I am going to have a wait. Unlike my normal Under 5 minute process. But, I dont care, I am going on the first day with a mask, hand sanitizer, and a book. I want to get my vote in while I am still feeling good.
I have done my 2 weeks of waiting for my flu shot to completely protect me and I am isolated most of the time.
Lets do this!!!!

(44,974 posts)USPS worked just fine, ballot was delivered to me and back to board of election quickly and without any issues. Ballot is already accepted by board of elections which means I filled everything out correctly.

If it happens, it happens, but I'm doing everything I can to avoid it.
