Trump better hope Biden doesn't appoint Whitmer as A.G.

I know it is a much lower position than Governor and it would never happen. But I think Trump will realize the importance of not burning all his bridges. And if the Senate flips, he better run far away.

Because the AG is going to have to oversee/direct investigations and prosecutions of Trump and his closest circle, never mind all his lackeys. Don't invite accusations of personal vendetta and abusing power if you don't need to. There are many qualified people to choose from.

The Department of Justice has been politicized enough during Trump's reign of error.

A rock-solid prosecutor with independence and a history of following the rule of law is what we need to rebuild confidence in the DOJ and bring the traitors to justice.
