It's the GOP's turn: Florida's early voting awash in conservative wave

The start of in-person voting today is expected to trigger a conservative wave that will build over the next two weeks and crest on Election Day.

A record-breaking surge of mail-voting Democrats in Florida has handed Joe Biden a massive lead over President Donald Trump in his must-win home state.

But here come the Republicans.

The start of in-person voting Monday is expected to trigger a conservative wave that will build over the next two weeks and crest on Election Day. Around two-thirds of participating Florida GOP voters are likely to cast a ballot in person this fall, raising the question of whether Biden, the Democratic presidential nominee, will be able to hold off a Trump comeback by the time the polls close at 7 p.m. on Nov. 3.

“Our voters have said they would like to vote in person,” said Susie Wiles, the operative leading Trump’s Florida campaign. “And our expectation is that’s what they’ll do, whether it’s early or on Election Day.”

around here are sporting signs for the local rethug sheriff, but no mf45 signs. He might have gotten on their last nerve, too.

But, remember this. Biden has NUMEROUS paths to the Oval Office without FL. Trump has none. He MUST win FL to have any path to re-election. If he ends up winning FL, big deal.

Republican Governor, Republican Secretary of State, Republican legislature, Russian malware in Florida voting systems ... it’s just too much. I would love to see Biden win FL, and it could happen, but the odds are not good.

Just more noise from bad reporters and pundits trying to spin.

If someone reported that on Election Day Democrats were showing up all morning in droves but there were concerns they are “cannabalising” the afternoon vote and Republicans were going to have an evening wave - so watch out! What would your reaction be? It’s the same, but stretched over three weeks rather than one day as in the past.

Motivated voters will vote. Democrats win high turnout races.

If our side comes out to vote, we can win FL, but it will be VERY close:

Btw, we also have more voter registrants in NC and PA, which is promising. But it won't matter unless they actually cast their ballots.

I saw one woman and at the polling place my husband went to there was one man wearing American flag tshirts, that was it, nothing with anything overt. Between us we saw over 200 folks, all voting peacefully with no drama. I was talking to the security guard and he said at this polling place, they usually averaged 400 people on the first day of early voting but would probably end the day at around 3000 this year.

I do know the drumpf signs have all of a sudden proliferated, there are now 6 on our regular walk route where before the weekend there were only 2, so I would be concerned about that except I always figured the repugs would steal FL, they do it every time with one trickery or another. Dems have to win without FL to take the country.

I can't understand how senior or retired citizens could ever choose Chump over Joe Biden. And Florida is overloaded with seniors and retirees. Chump wants to steal your Social Security and Medicare, are you guys OK with that?

Also Florida has lots of retired military & combat veterans. How can these patriotic Americans support the man who has sold out our country, weakened our defenses, and insulted the Generals and Joint Chiefs of Staff. He's looted funds from the VA Administration and from our defense just to build his stupid wall. Are you guys OK with that?

A lot of Florida's economy depends on tourism. After badly mismanaging the Covid crisis, he has endangered and weakened our entire nation. Neither tourism nor the economy will recover from this disaster for YEARS. Are you guys OK with that?

What's wrong with you Florida, if you can't see what Chump has done to you?!
