New Fox News Poll shows the race tightening significantly from Biden +9 to Biden +3 over the past two weeks. Now at Biden 47% and Trump 44%.




Shoot sorry, I got that wrong. That's from 2008. With a week to go before the election, Fox had a poll where Obama only had a 3 point lead over McCain down from his previous poll of +9. It almost seems like if we just cherry pick polls, we can find all sorts of crazy results. The exact same day, CBS had Obama +11. Pay attention to the averages and don't freak out over random, individual polls. You'll drive yourself insane and it will all be for nothing.

5. LOL. What is interesting is Fox hasn't published a poll in about two weeks.

Fox Polling is good and they pride themselves on accuracy. The last poll was almost two weeks ago and showed Trump down 10. Fox usually does polls about once a week but hasn't published anything for almost weeks. I wonder if they have done it and know it is bad and thus won't publish it so the Orange One doesn't get the sads.

I mean what top rating polling company is NOT polling the Presidential Election right now? Almost every pollster is ramping up the rate of polling and just crickets from Fox.

9. I remember being at Logan Airport the day before the election

and seeing a newspaper front page with something like “MCCAIN COMEBACK?” and a solitary tight poll as the basis for that.

Here’s my prediction for what happens this time: it “tightens” to Biden +8ish over the next couple of weeks and a single poll on election-eve shows Trump ahead or behind by 1 and it gets treated as the one poll to rule them all. Then, Biden wins comfortably and the conman fucks off. THE END.
