Spencer Davis has died at the age of 81.
The multi-instrumentalist and founder of The Spencer Davis Group reportedly passed away yesterday (October 19) following a heart attack at his home in California, according to Birmingham Live.
Davis formed The Spencer Davis Group with Steve Winwood, Muff Winwood and Pete York in 1963, with the band becoming renowned for such 1960s hits as Keep On Running, Gimme Some Lovin and Im A Man.
