I stop all news, total blackout, and live my last short years watching movies with all loved ones understanding they are not to mention any news.

I did this for 6 weeks starting just before he went to Finland because that trip and the Kavanaugh discussions combined to put me over the edge.

It’s tricky though because there was no way to get even local news selectively. During that time a friend in Oregon complained about smoke and I was clueless as to the fired there. Clueless about everything but must admit it was nice to reclaim some mental space.
