As I noted in another thread about him, I think he was told to wear a mask by his dept. and this was his response.

It's pretty impressively dumb, and I doubt it's going to work out well for him. The police chief noted "multiple" violations of department policy. He should be fired, but I doubt he will be. A suspension might bring him to reality.

they should kick his fascist ass out of the polling place. He's subject to the same polling laws as everyone else, and it clearly states there is no electioneering (and that means signs etc.) within 100 feet of a polling place.

And report him - a violation of 18 USC 594, and 595.

18 U.S. Code § 594. Intimidation of voters

(General intimidation statute)

And

§595. Interference by administrative employees of Federal, State, or Territorial Governments
Whoever, being a person employed in any administrative position by the United States, or by any department or agency thereof, or by the District of Columbia or any agency or instrumentality thereof, or by any State, Territory, or Possession of the United States, or any political subdivision, municipality, or agency thereof, or agency of such political subdivision or municipality (including any corporation owned or controlled by any State, Territory, or Possession of the United States or by any such political subdivision, municipality, or agency), in connection with any activity which is financed in whole or in part by loans or grants made by the United States, or any department or agency thereof, uses his official authority for the purpose of interfering with, or affecting, the nomination or the election of any candidate for the office of President, Vice President, Presidential elector, Member of the Senate, Member of the House of Representatives, Delegate from the District of Columbia, or Resident Commissioner, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both.
This section shall not prohibit or make unlawful any act by any officer or employee of any educational or research institution, establishment, agency, or system which is supported in whole or in part by any state or political subdivision thereof, or by the District of Columbia or by any Territory or Possession of the United States; or by any recognized religious, philanthropic or cultural organization.

(In short, simply wearing that can be a violation as a State employee attempting to influence the election, which makes the officer guilty of a federal offense. Call the FBI and they should either call his department and get it fixed immediately, or they will go investigate. I’m serious- call the FBI).

In a statement, City of Miami Police said they were aware of the photograph, calling the officer's behavior unacceptable.

"This behavior is unacceptable, a violation of departmental policy, and is being addressed immediately," City of Miami Police said.

The police department has not stated whether or not the officer will face any discipline.

If he’s just hanging out, yeah, it’s illegal, and who is gonna tell him to leave.

We are likely to see more of this in the next two weeks.

I was told absolutely NO t-shirts, buttons, hats...NOTHING that would affiliate me with a particular campaign. When I was working to get people to the polls and wearing the T-shirt, I couldn't come within 100 feet(?) of where people were signing in.

This has got be be illegal. We know it's immoral, but hey...it's a Trumpist. What the hell do they know about morals?

There can be no electioneering (meaning signs, posters, anything with a candidates name on it) within 100 feel of a polling place. There should be signs posted all over the place, and this fascist doorknob thinks he can do whatever he wants. Gee, I wonder where he got that idea?
