Rivada Networks is part of a joint venture with Port Graham Development Corporation called Rivada Port Graham Solutions.[6] In April 2012, Rivada Port Graham Solutions was one of 30 prime contractors awarded a contract on the US Secret Service's $3 billion Tactical Communications (TACCOM) contract for the US Department of Homeland Security. Contractors received contracts in one or multiple technical categories, and each indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract has a 2-year base and three 1-year options. Some of the technical categories on the contract include portable/mobile radios, control/base stations, software, upgrades, repeaters, routers, comparator systems, engineering, design, installations, maintenance, frequency managers, spectrum managers and test equipment.[7][8]

In May 2016 it was disclosed that Rivada Networks had partnered with Harris Corporation, Ericsson, Nokia, Intel Security, Fujitsu Network Communications, and Black & Veatch to form Rivada Mercury. Rivada Mercury unsuccessfully bid to build a nationwide LTE network in the 700 MHz spectrum licensed to FirstNet.[9][10]

In 2019, Rivada Networks employed Karl Rove, a former Bush administration official, as a lobbyist.[4][3]

I think Jake Tapper said that it suddenly became an urgent matter in September.

They are going for the final grift!

I wonder how many millions in last-minute campaign "donations" came through to Trump over this, from investors and people on the board and upper management.

republicans win, not only the presidency, but house and senate seats as well.

None of the exit polls were agreeing with the electronic totals for so many years.

Maybe they're trying to get this through before Nov. 3, so they can pulls some of their spycraft out of their asses again.

https://www.projectcensored.org/12-mysterious-death-of-mike-connell-karl-roves-election-thief/

Karl Rove’s chief IT consultant, Mike Connell—who was facing subpoena in connection with 2004 Presidential election fraud in Ohio—mysteriously died in a private plane crash in 2008. Connell was allegedly the central figure in a longstanding plot to electronically flip votes to Republicans.

In July 2008, Connell was named as a key witness in the case known as King Lincoln Bronzeville Neighborhood Association v. Blackwell, which was filed against Ohio Secretary of State Kenneth J. Blackwell on August 31, 2006 by Columbus attorneys Clifford Arnebeck and Robert Fitrakis. It initially charged Blackwell with racially discriminatory practices—including the selective purging of voters from the election rolls and the unequal allocation of voting machines to various districts—and asked for measures to be taken to prevent similar problems during the November 2006 election.

On October 9, 2006, an amended complaint added charges of various forms of ballot rigging as also having the effect of “depriving the plaintiffs of their voting rights, including the right to have their votes successfully cast without intimidation, dilution, cancellation or reversal by voting machine or ballot tampering.” A motion to dismiss the case as moot was filed following the November 2006 election, but it was instead stayed to allow for settlement discussions.

The case took on fresh momentum in July 2008 when Arnebeck announced that he was filing to “lift the stay in the case and proceed with targeted discovery in order to help protect the integrity of the 2008 election.” The new filing was inspired in part by the coming forward as a whistleblower of GOP IT security expert Stephen Spoonamore, who said he was prepared to testify to the plausibility of electronic vote-rigging having been carried out in 2004. The stay was lifted September 19, 2008 and Connell was served a subpoena on September 22.

But it seems logical. The government owns that bandwidth. They will be just leasing it out to Rivada, who in turn will be subletting it out to the telcoms.

Now say someone like trump, has a problem with people protesting against him, he will have the authority to shut down the service in the name of a national emergency. The next step would be to find out who was organizing the protests AKA dissidents in trumpland. If the government owns the network, will warrants be necessary? trump has already ordered extra-judicial killings, this will give him or someone like him the means to further his agenda.

.....STEALING EVERY FU*KING dollars they can while NO ONE including the responsible GOP Congressional members who aren't doing their required oversite.

They are all trying to enrich themselves on the back of everyday taxpayers.

WHEN BIDEN and HARRIS win, they need to investigate every former member of the 45's administration.

Prosecute them to the full extent of the law. Additionally, we should claw back every penny we can find.

And finally, ANYONE who refuses to respect a Congressional subpoena THROW THEIR ASS IN JAIL UNTIL THEY DO!

WE NEED to demonstrate that we are not just going to walk away.
