Trump is barely even trying to disguise his calls for violence against his political opponents:
Its just crazy. I saw Shifty Schiff get up yesterday and say this is Russia, Trump said Tuesday. Hes a sick man. He is so sick. We went through two and a half years of that, plus. This guy, he ought to be put away, or he ought to be, you know, something should happen with him. [emphasis added]
Trump said this on Fox and Friends in a telephone call this morning. This quote is being reported in Daily Beast, Daily Caller, Mediaite, so far. From the Daily Beast:
President Donald Trump called for House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) to be put away for saying the Hunter Biden laptop stories are part of a smear campaign that originated as part of Russian disinformation. During a call into his favorite morning news show Fox & Friends, Trump began blasting Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden over the sketchy New York Post reports on the laptopwhich Fox News passed on due to credibility issuesbefore he was asked about Schiffs remarks.
This is beyond batshit crazy.

he should be charged with aiding and abetting terrorist activity, among his multitude of other crimes.
The rules don't apply to Trump, at least for now.
He told his thugs to "stand by", so I'm assuming they'll take this as permission to act.

(47,711 posts)Sounds more like something a mob boss would say.
To paraphrase Peter O'Toole in Becket, "Will no one rid me of this meddlesome congressman?" King Henry II never ordered the assassination, he just asked a question.

Our greatest fortune thusfar is that Trump is so hapless his damage has been limited. Significant and treasonous, but somewhat limited. A real GOP pro wouldn't leave us a Christmas light after tearing down our Christmas tree.

(1,648 posts)For some reason Donald Dumbass believes that anyone with the power and responsibility of investigating his traitorous actions is the guilty party that belongs in prison.
Of course prior to 2016, he thinks President Obama should have been investigated for every conspiracy rumor he started during President Obama's Administration. Donald Dumbass is a flailing blob of shit that is now spattering everywhere all over the United States of America, while Putin is laughing his ass off at the mayhem his Useful Idiot Donald Dumbass stained the United States with.
