MSNBC interviewed a lady who was voting for Biden but was leaning toward voting for James and would make up her mind on election day. Ugh.

(5,007 posts)Im not sure how many other people will do that. She said she feels like Peters has not done anything for them. 🤷🏽?♀️

(4,845 posts)I know. Trafalar is crap and all that applies there. But I would say it's closer than I like and I would rather democrats put some resource to help him to boost turnout for both Peters and the important state of MI.

(5,007 posts)He had 45 and his opponent had 38 or 39 (graphic made it difficult to see the second number).

(5,007 posts)Biden was 3% points ahead of Peters though. If Biden has a strong night that could help Peters.

(19,043 posts)The poll average is Peters +5 or 6. He will win, but it's closer than it should be.
John James is an extremist and a Trumpster, his commercials have been him pretending he's not a Republican. I honestly think a big part of the viewers didn't realize he was GOP. Peters has started to mention him as a Republican.
Biden is going to have the biggest coattails we've ever seen. It's going to mean 3 to 5 points all across the country down ticket. Peters will win by 8-10 points.

(4,845 posts)Peters is up 5-6 points in most polls other than one Trafalar poll that showed James up 1. Same caution that Trafalar has a huge republican lean. But I do think we should put some money to Peters to help him across the finish line.

James has millions from the DeVos group, plus Moscow Mitch and even Louis DeJoy.
Peters relies on donations. It's hard to go after James for anything concrete because he
hasn't done anything. But he is against Obamacare and against Roe. I understand Obama
just did a endorsement. We've been saying for awhile Peters needs to go more aggressive against James.
thank god we have straight ticket voting. If you have to stand in line for an hour in Detroit
or Lansing, I just hope you just fill in that little circle for straight ticket.

James is slick, maybe a little too slick. I hate his ads - he oozes fake sincerity. There is an anti-Peters super PAC that runs a lot of ads that are flat out lies. James made the mistake of hitching his wagon to Trump (who he supports "2000%" ) and accepting funding from DeVos.
Peters is quiet and unassuming which nowadays is mistaken for doing nothing. It is fucking infuriating.
