It's important to remember that '16 Trump presented himself as the ultimate dealmaker. He hasn't been involved in any of it. Not the March stimulus, not this round. So much for Art of the Deal.

This is a theme that runs through Mary Trump's book, especially in her closing argument.
He almost never knows what is going on, by design. It partly explains why he is unable to plan or strategize.
