tell us what that means. Hell, I've been banging nails for 45 years and my hands look way better than that. Is it circulation related?

My older relatives lower arms & legs look sort of like that. Only not nearly as extreme, even at their worst.

I will note they are on average 15 years older than the terrapin.

I'm not a doctor, but have seen this effect in my mom & dad & relatives. And now that I'm a woman of a "certain age", am cautious of these side effects for myself, hubby, & siblings.

who have had IVs. Looks to me like both hands. There's a bandaid on his left hand, too, and a wound closure strip on his right.

They had to switch hands for the IV, it looks like to me. Remdesivir, perhaps, which is administered through an IV. So are the monoclonal antibodies Trump received.

That's my guess.

It usually appears first on the lower legs, but then it can spread to the feet, the lower arms, and the hands. It’s a widely-recognized symptom of the disease. The swelling is also typical.

But if you drop it into a photo editing program and lighten the photo, drop the color saturation and sharpen you get to something that strikes me as much closer to the truth-the right hand shows some evidence of blood thinner bleeding and a couple of oddly placed bandages. But as presented they look manipulated to the point they look like a close up from the "Walking Dead"...
