I'll admit it - I sobbed watching this.

What a wonderful, compassionate man.

I had never seen this clip before today, and now I’m sitting here wiping tears from my face. Joe Biden is a good man, and he is our only hope to heal and restore the soul of our nation.

There's a fairly close correlation between emotional/physical violence at home growing up, and growing up to be a right-winger - with many exceptions, of course.

This is why, you'll notice, Republicans always encourage corporal punishment for children.

what they mean is the father/husband is the boss and the disciplinarian. He rules his house. He has the last word, and he must be obeyed. Children are to be seen and not heard and to be punished in order to build their character. The wife is to obey her superior husband in all things and to cater to all his demands.

Male chauvinism - and the view that women are basically maids, and children are basically property - is one of the common denominators of just about every far-right or fascist party in the world.

Like, say, today's GOP.

Enjoy the news that 506 kids at the border are orphans for life, that there are probably still kids in cages, the kind who wanted the Muslim Ban, and who thinks that BLM is a domestic Terrorist group.. The same ignorant bastard who spends hours upon hours watching Fox News and is brain washed into believing that Donald Trump really is America's "Dear Leader" ... the kind of person who would spit on people like myself, who would tell me to "Go the fuck back to China" and other hurtful, hate filled rants. The Stephen Millers of the world...

His base.. will always be there, when he is gone.. and Q-anon ,as stupid as it sounds, will be out in front for a while now, even in our own government.

I still remember a photo from a couple of years ago of Trump with a little girl who looked fearful and like she wanted to bolt. This kid hugged a perfect stranger and was comforted by him. Trump would have shoved the kid away and turned his back to him.

They upped their game every week, and held the secret sauce for when the election is on the line. Joe Biden has built the moral imperative against Trump. It's what we didn't have in 2016, the ability to denounce Trump in no uncertain terms. Even though HRC told us and warned us, so many just shrugged it off like too much drama.
