David Wasserman: Watch Sumter County, FL on Election Night

(home of The Villages)

If Trump is only getting 60% of the (largely senior) vote, Trump will be losing Florida.

There are a number of bellwether counties in Florida in my opinion. Pacifist Patriot Oct 2020 #6

Went for Trump in 2016. Volusia is another one that could flip. But both have a history of being slow.

Sumpter tells us how the retired voters are going while the others give a better overall picture. If Pasco is within 5% then I would call it for Biden. And if Brevard is only about 10% for Trump break out the champagne. He won by 20% There in 2016.

Seminole, Volusia and Pinellas around 50/50, Orange at 65% and Hillsborough at 60% Biden and we likely have an early win for Biden.

Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach will be a hot mess as usual.

Any attempt to steal the election will most likely be in Seminole, Volusia and Pinellas.
