Am I the only one currently boycotting all things NBC because of Chuck Todd?

I never much cared for Chucky anyway, but him wanting to give Toxic Waste Trump a town hall after Donnie did the "laying down in the floor, kicking his heels, beating his fists, and bellowing" thing over having to abide by the Debate Commission's totally reasonable health precautions was a bit too much for me. Since the TWT town hall was announced, I've watched no network under the NBC umbrella and don't plan to until Todd is exiled somewhere else.

Maybe Chris Hayes once in a while. I’m swearing off the rest of it on all networks.

If you are boycotting NBC because of Chuck Todd, I'd urge you to write to the network and tell them that you aren't watching their shows or patronizing their sponsors because of Todd. Boycotting without letting the people in charge know is worthless.

with Biden's--only because it was shitty of one network to do so against another AND more importantly, to reward Trump for his abuse of the process.

I won't watch Chuck Todd in the future period. But, Laurence, Rachel, Nicole, Joy, Chris, and Brian Williams weren't part of that (and apparently at least some expressed their disagreement with NBC doing so). So, I'll gladly watch them again now.

But the idea of boycotting a network based on a guy I never watch anyway seems rather absurd to me.

Although they did admit several times that Trump used fear the most, it was a both-sides-do-it. Totally missing was the point: Trump's fear mongering is based on lies and Biden's fears about Trump are what we're all afraid of because IT'S ALL TOO HORRIBLY REAL.

Then ABC Nightline depressed me with a story about a high school in Pennsylvania holding a mock election. The reporter interviewed some students and there were Biden supporters. Just when you think, oh, that's a good sign, you see the results and it was about 57 for Biden and over two hundred for Trump. Sigh. I think the teacher should've made up fictional parties and given them the policies of Rs and Ds and the results of those policies. Then reveal which party they voted for. Nobody likes Republican policy, as if they even really have any anymore except to cut taxes for the wealthy.

Jim Carrey and SNL.

There are a couple things I've probably forgot.

But no, you are not the only one.

Fuck Chuck Todd
