Were in a really precarious time, said David Rubin, a pediatrician who runs the PolicyLab at the Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia, whose models show devolving situations across much of the nation. (19,051 posts)Worst day since August. The 2nd wave is going to be awful.
Honestly, it's going to be the story going into election day, might even depress turnout on election day. Who ever has a big lead from absentee ballots is sitting pretty.

(15,751 posts)[This is bit off topic. I just drove through a major road repaving area - fresh milling machine with much macadam dust clouds, macadam supply trucks and application machines; dust and tar smell very heavy. Perhaps 20+ workers, traffic direction, etc., and not a single mask. Lot of people just don't get masks. Seem like their is a tipping point, where a majority mask or not, and the rest follow.
Covid masking is going to be a long haul it seems.
