So far I've seen 4 or 5 newswomen refuse to listen to Trumpian bullshit. Besides feeling good...

about anyone pushing back, it's especially good seeing these women, who no doubt remember the "grab 'em..." tape, relishing the idea of pushing back on the gishgallop.

I suspect they were held back in the past for fear of press passes being pulled and other access denied, like empty guest seats, but are now off the leash.

Revenge is sweet.

Would be nice to see some real honest interviews and solid reporting instead of Softball questions or failure of follow up questions.

the interview, but it's damn difficult in practice.

It's become famous, but left "Fresh Air" with a lot of dead airspace when Terri Gross asked a simple question that got O'Reilly pissed off enough to walk out.

Here's Terri talking about it with Jimmy Fallon, and catch her closing wisecrack:

I saw a little of Stephanie Ruhl this morning and she was pissed. I almost took a time out.

Hell, I was tired of it way back in the '80s. I don't know why a majority of white men and too damn many hispanic men seem to be okay with this misogynistic, racist, lying, cheating, vile, horrific display of a human being. I really don't. This tells me you are weak and pathetic if you can't stand up to this man, and worse, just like him if you support him.

Yesterday she had a segment on her show responding to dt calling CNN "bastards" for talking about COVID. She had people on (virtually of course) her show speaking of loved ones who have died, folks who've had horrible lingering effects from the illness, and other real life situations.

I've been quite impressed with her no nonsense demeanor. She's really serious and straight forward.

hearing it for years.

And for the first time probably in all of history we are finding that it's ok to not accept it and to speak out freely.

Trump should have known better than to think he could just bullshit Lesley Stahl.
