If trump interrupts and violates the debate rules, I would like Joe to turn toward trump and say

point blank, if you don't want to obey the debate rules you agreed to, you should leave. You are depriving Americans of a discussion on the issues

Doesn't matter. The audience would and any laughter would enrage him. hlthe2b Oct 2020 #9

Have Joe Biden leave and Jim Carrey as Joe Biden take his place on the debate stage.

If this is going to be another joke, let's take the joke all the way.

We don't need Alec Baldwin because Trump is already a parody of himself.

Unfortunately that worked against demagogues in the 1950s.

Today the answer of "Of course not" would not surprise anyone

It would make more sense than what he says.

We'll save the "That's all, folks!" for a later date.

I'd bet the audience could not help but laugh and that would infuriate Trump--not to mention drawing the obvious ironic contrast.

So, even on the remote possibility that he acts almost like an adult, will tomorrow's headlines be "Biden, Trump Outline Future Plans", "Final Debate Draws Stark Differences", or even "Trump Will Dismantle ACA If Re-Elected"???

No, they'd probably be along the lines of "Trump Behaves Himself In Final Debate", "President Acts Presidential", or "Trump DOESN'T Make a Complete Fool of Himself in Last Debate".

He'd be made to look good simply by not looking horrible.

(That said, I think the odds of him not behaving like -- well, like Trump -- are pretty slim.)
