Norman Ornstein tweet about Trump's "60 Minutes" healthcare comments:

In the 60 Minutes interview footage he just released, Trump tells Lesley Stahl he has a totally finished health care plan, then says "we will come up with a plan," then says "we have large sections of it already done," then says he needs to see what the Supreme Court will do.

Another 15 minutes and he would’ve actually told the truth: “ we have no plan, we’ve never had a plan, we never will have a plan, we just want to blow the whole thing up.“

because the "free market" will fix all problems. Never mind that it was the free market that led into the disaster that was before the ACA.

The RepubliCON Senators. They alone are what make this whole thing work.
Even if Trump is defeated, If the RepubliCON control of the Senate is not overthrown, it will be mute.
They will just obstruct for four years, just like they did with Obama the last two years.

For those of you too young to remember. Bill Clinton got elected in 1992 on the promise of a universal health care plan (among other things). The Republicans, led by Newt Gingrich and with the assistance of the AMA produced a tsunami of lies about the Clinton plan and told the American people that, if they gave the Republicans the majority in the House and Senate in the 1994 election, the Republicans would provide a "real affordable health care plan". Well, the country did provide the requested majority and the Republicans promptly "forgot" about their promised plan. So it's closer to 30 years, not 4 or 10 that the Republicans have been lying about healthcare to the American people. The only thing I don't understand is why the DNC or the DSCC or the DCCC haven't been beating Republican candidates over the head with this lie since '96.

The way I understand the last 30+ years is that the health insurance industry and larger insurance industry have long had their lobbyist claws into the Republicans of Congress -- since before Millennials were born. Maybe even boomers.

The Clintons were the first public casualty of their stealth forces.

Obama (and heavily lobbied Dems) was forced by Big Pharma (many of whom have other global home offices) not to touch it under the ACA, under their threat of gouging consumers' drug prices.

After that, the PR machine kicked in, Obama was attacked for being a bad negotiator in "caving" to Big Pharma. Then the PR machine finished off the ACA off through health industry ads, and Republicans who blamed "the government" for gouging American premium costs. Trump echoes them all, now calling Obamacare the "disaster" that, unknown to most Americans, Big pharma, the health industry and Republicans themselves created, then lied about who did what to them.

The jackals had lots of previous practice when they went after Obama and the ACA. They will not stop until the pre-existing conditions section is gone.

Regulation is exactly what makes the free market a fair market. Leave the free market to capitalists and not even air, water or sunlight will be free.

In the globalists' plan, humans not protected by strong governments' regulations, will join the rest of Earth's flora and fauna as mere "externalities." To that end we now see the corporate capture of governments.
