I guess it's time to get off my ass and install Linux. Or go back to running a Commodore 64 and rely upon BASIC 2.0 and Commodore DOS.

It was great while it lasted, Microsoft.

I saw one in person once - I believe a model III. Though, for many years I actually called into a BBS that was ran from one.

I don't even think I saw a floor model out at the Radio Shack closest to me when I grew up. They did have a CoCo out, though.

It sounds like I really missed out not using or owning one. Darn!

The first phone I remember my parents having was a rotary-dial, back in the "The phone company owns the lines and the phones" days. After moving, one of the phones they bought was a rotary, just because they liked the style of it.
