the phony Hunter Biden story is dead in the water (if you're not already living in the Fox News bubble), the 60 Minutes "tough questions" interview will be broadcast on Sunday, and then there's just over a week to go.

How do you think Trump is going to spend the remaining time between now and election day?

I assume he'll still be out there getting people infected with COVID at his superspreader rallies -- but anything else? Or are we just going to get another couple weeks of whining and bad vaudeville about flushing the toilet?

1. I think Trump will be out there campaigning a lot.

Some on the fence Trumpers ("undecided" voters) are now comfortable to vote for him again (like they weren't going to LOL). The media will run the "race is tightening" narrative for the rest of the weeks.

2. I think they will keep dredging the swamp to see if there is another 2016 Comey type thing

(of course so far anything they've tried has been a complete flop).

It is worth remembering the Comey letter dropped last Oct 28, 10 days before the election. Looking at 538 plots, it probably did have some effect.

We are now 11 days from the election (after midnight here) - let's see what bullshit they try to pull in the remaining time.

But...so many have voted. And the only way with a party devoid of ideas, with a buffoon as president, can win at this point will be to cheat.

I will be watching the aggregate and state polls in the next few days to see if there is any debate bump at all for either. But if Joe can keep the current lead.....

As to what trump will be doing - endlessly campaigning and saying stupid shit - being his own worst enemy, probably, if he wants to get anyone that is not his cult to vote for him.

Trying to get ballots rejected now; trying to make absentee ballots seen as 'second class', so that he can demand counts are stopped; pumping up the armed intimidators for election day.

Suing has always been his basic business tactic. It won't matter to him whether the legal challenges have any credibility; the more there are, the more confusion there will be. It's not his money that will be paying for them. If he's lucky, a few will survive. He's stuffed the courts with cronies for 4 years, after all.
