Jeff Jackson, popular NC state senator, ordered to attend out of state NG training
for the next 3weeks. He has been leading statewide effort in North Carolina to break the GOP majority in the state legislature.
GOP redrew his district earlier to make it more difficult for him, and now this sudden need for his unit to be called up for National Guard training.
